This little lady was suppose to come into the studio for her session, but life is never boring and last minute momma asked for an in home session instead. It worked out better for her and for me! I love having control over the environment in the studio, plus having all of my props and fun things right at the tip of my fingers. But Mom asked if we could use a really big prop in her home. I was all for it so we had this little miss do her morning tummy time on the grand piano. While she was very wide awake and alert, she was also very calm, quietly contemplating why perhaps we thought tummy time on the piano was a good idea. 🙂 After this fun set up, she did sleep away the rest of her session as we worked with baskets, soft fuzzy blankets and adorned her cute self with a few headbands and hats. She was such a good snoozer that her session took less than 2 hours, my shortest newborn session yet this year! It is always fun to get out of the studio for a bit for an in home newborn session. This is a great way to make your newborn session very personal and create memories of not only how tiny a brand new baby is, but to also bring your home and surroundings into the images.Whether in the studio or in your home, a newborn session is such a great way to capture this short piece of babyhood. In home newborn sessions are a bit different than studio sessions. While I do bring a few items, I like to use items and areas in your home to make a very personal and custom session that will bring years of joy.
